Bio
Nils Habermacher (born 29 December 1982) is a trained Swiss German actor. He has played roles from Shakespeare to Bertolt Brecht, working in renowned Swiss and German theaters as well as in dozens of film projects.
Nils studied drama at the Schauspiel Schule Zürich (SSZ) and the European Film Actor School Zürich (EFAS), and had his first leading role as Macheath in The Threepenny Opera (2010) at the Katakombe, Frankfurt, Germany.
Further training took Nils to Los Angeles, California, where he worked with director Georges Caceres, actors Adrian R'Mante, Tyler Steelman, Sterling Sulieman and coach Jonathan Goldstein.
Notable credits include the short film "The Coachmen", directed by Freddy Macdonald and executive produced by Al Pacino's long time producer, Barry Navidi, or the feature "Cronofobia" by Italian director Francesco Rizzi.
Fluent in English and German, Nils currently lives in Zürich.
